1. What is the article about?

Three men drowned in a tragic day on Victorian beaches yesterday. A father died while saving his son near Lorne and a man drowned while snorkelling with friends off Rye.

Another father drowned after he tried to save his son from a rip at Golden Beach, near Sale.

The drowning’s happened at unpatrolled beaches, prompting authorities to urge Victorians to swim between the flags. (Written in the actual article)

The article is about how three men died at one of Victoria’s beaches on the 9th of March 2013. A boy was swimming and then started drowning when his father came in to rescue him but failed, leaving then both to drown at Ninety Mile Beach owner Janice Fowler.

And then and man went snorkelling with his friends at off Rye beach and he too drowned.

The men drowning happened at an unpatrolled beach. Which the authorities are encourages people to swim between the flag, so that everyone in Australia is safe and our country. (Written in my own words)

I found the article in the Herald Sun, Sunday paper page 2-3 on the 10th of March.
